Myanmar boasts a vast array of wonders including rich traditions, temples and pagodas in Yangon, Bagan and Mandalay. At Inle Lake, you will experience the lifestyle of the Intha and learn about their crafts. The extension directly much the trip is NGAPALI BEACH at your leisure for relaxing.

The beautiful Ngapali Beach is located in Thandwe (formely Sandoway) about an hour's flight from Yangon and Bagan (Flying 45 Minutes). This un-spoiled beach stretches over 3 km and is an ideal place for the one who loves blue sea of placid water, white sand, sun shining and snorkeling. There is a 9-hole golf course only three miles away from the Ngapali hotel. Nearby fishing villages are also interesting places. Ngapali Beach is a seasonal destination and most hotels close during the monsoon season from mid May to mid October. The best time to visit Ngapali Beach from October to May in every year.

On arrival at YANGON airport Landmark Myanmar Company warmly welcome by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel.

Your journey begins with an afternoon tour through Yangon’s colonial-style city center. Visit SULE PAGODA, dating back over 2,000 years ago; the magnificent reclining Buddha CHAUK HTAT GYI; and after a photo stop at the KARAWEIK HALL, a 'hamsa-bird-shaped' floating barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, stroll through the BOGYOKE (SCOTTS) MARKET, a compound of hundreds of food, garment, handicraft and gem stores. Complete your first day in Myanmar with a visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the SHWEDAGON PAGODA.

Overnight in Yangon.

After breakfast, drive to BAGO (84 km - 1½ hours). Stop en-route by an Allied War Graves cemetery near HTAUK KYAN.

Arrival to Bago, visit the four giant Buddha images at KYAIK PUN PAGODA; 55-meter long reclining SHWE THA LYAUNG Buddha, which is among one of the country's most impressive images; a thousand years old SHWEMAWDAW PAGODA with its spire taller than the SHWEDAGON PAGODA and palace named KAN BAW ZA THAR DI.

The tour will continue to one of Myanmar's landmarks, famous for its precarious position and religious importance, KYAIKTIYO the 'Golden Rock' is a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. To reach the pagoda from KIN PUN base camp a steep 11 km road leads to the upper staging point. The journey is made in open trucks. The 'upper area' must be traveled by foot, at present, and the walk is approximately 4 km (1 hour) up a steep path ascending some 500m to the GOLDEN ROCK on top of the mountain range. If you wish to take a more comfortable approach, you can sit back and be carried in sedan chairs by four porters. This will incur an extra cost. On arrival you can enjoy great views over the surrounding jungle and a beautiful sunset.

After early breakfast, proceed to MAWLAMYINE (170 Km – driving 04:00 hours). Upon arrival in Mawlamyine, check in at hotel on Strand Road among historic buildings from colonial era.

Afternoon sightseeing includes MAHAMUNI PAGODA, a major temple site in Myanmar; SEINDON MIBAYA KYAUNG, where King Mindon’s queen sought refuge, the first Baptist church and the Zyegyi Market.
Overnight in Mawlamyine.

After breakfast, board the bustling ferry, full of villagers laden with goods from the market. After take riding (01:30 hours) you reach BILU ISLAND, where a true Myanmar experience far away from modern civilization awaits you. By open pick up truck you will discover the serene scenery of paddy fields and quaint villages. Visit small wood workshops, typical for Myanmar where walking sticks and pens are produced. Return to Mawlamyine late afternoon to enjoy the sunset from KYAIKTHANLAN PAGODA, known as the Kipling Pagoda.

After breakfast, drive 15km to MUDON and visit huge reclining image. Proceed to visit KYAIK MA YAW Pagoda. Then proceed (driving 01:30 hours) to HPA-AN, the capital of the Kayin State. En-route, visit the Caves of KAWGOON and PAYON, famous for its countless Buddha images, stalagmites and stalactites. Arrival to HPA AN, check-in at the hotel and visit the LAKE KANTHARYAR known for its small island with fascinating rock formation with pagoda on the top.

After breakfast visit the local market and proceed to SHWEYINHMYAW Pagoda located at the bank of the Thalwin River. Then depart to YANGON. En-route explores a network of limestone caves extending through the whole mountain range opening to a picturesque lake.

Overnight in Yangon.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to BAGAN (01:20 hours Flying). On arrival at Nyaung Oo Airport, stroll through a colorful of Nyaung Oo local Market and proceed with a visit to the famous pagodas and temples of Bagan including SHWEZIGON PAGODA; built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, WETKYI-IN GUBYAUKKYI; a cave temple with exquisite jatakas murals paintings, the elegant Htilominlo Temple; noted for its plaster carvings and study the history of the THARABA GATE. After lunch at a good local restaurant, learn of manufacturing Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts and visit a lacquer ware craftsmen’s workshop in nearby MYINKABA village; MYINKABA GU BYAUKKYI TEMPLE; an early period Pyu-style temple known for its mural paintings. Later continue ANANDA TEMPLE, with four standing Buddha images, ANANDA OKKYAUNG; one of the few surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period, MANUHA TEMPLE, built in Mon style in 1059 and explore the NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument which according to legends used to be palace site of the King Manuha. Complete the day by watching sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River from a temple top.

After breakfast, you will take to MOUNT. POPA (45 km - driving 01:30 hours); an extinct volcano with spectacular views. Popa is popular pilgrimage destination for the Myanmar’s. The local people travel here from far away to worship various animist spirits known as “nats”. The total steps of Seven Hundred and Seventy Seven lead up to the shrine placed on top of the steep Popa peak. After lunch, return back to Bagan. On the way, the wafe of life looking for Htan Nyet Khae making business. On arrival Bagan proceed sightseeing to TAYOKEPYAY TEMPLE in Min Nan Thu Village, PHAYA THONE ZU and NANDAMANYA TEMPLES noted for their exquisite murals of 13th century and KYAT KAN CAVE monastery, a famous meditation retreat in Bagan. Enjoy especially for sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River at BUPAYA. Overnight in Bagan.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the NYAUNG OO Airport for a domestic flight to MANDALAY ( 30 Minutes Flying ). On arrival at MANDALAY Airport, proceed to visit experience the sights and sounds of Mandalay including some of the most revered religious monuments in Myanmar, MAHAMUNI PAGODA. After lunch at a good local restaurant, continue to visit SHWE INBIN MONASTERY, GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY; a superb example of a traditional wood work and KUTHODAW PAGODA the world’s largest book, made of marble. Mandalay is also a major arts and crafts center. A visit to Kalaga tapestry craftsmen’s shop before proceeding to MANDALAY HILL for sunset viewing.

After breakfast, an excursion by boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River to MINGUN, about 11 km (driving 1 hour) upriver from Mandalay. Visit the unfinished MINGUN PAYA; which was meant to become the largest stupa in Myanmar constructed by King Bodaw Paya one of the world’s largest bells, the 90 ton weighing MINGUN BELL and HSINBYUME PAYA. Return back to Mandalay.

After lunch at a good local restaurant, embark for a short boat ride over a river and explore the former Royal Capital INWA (AVA) by horse cart. Visit NANMYINT WATCH TOWER, the remains of the ancient palace building, also know as “the leaning tower of Ava“; MAHA AUNGMYE BONZAN MONASTERY; built of brick and stucco; BARGAYAR MONASTERY, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. Continue to 200-year-old U BEIN teak bridge, built in 1782 during the era when Amarapura was the Royal capital for sunset viewing.

Overnight in Mandalay.

After early breakfast, transfer to airport for domestic flight to HEHO. Upon arrival, proceed by road to PINDAYA (60 km – driving 02:30 hours) and visit PINDAYA CAVES, a unique site housing thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims and devotees over the centuries. After lunch, drive to NYAUNG SHWE (90 km – driving 04:00 hours) and boat transfer to your hotel for check-in.
Overnight in Inle Lake.

After breakfast, a full day excursion by boat on the INLE LAKE will include sights of the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and magnificent scenery. The visit begins with the local market in the Inle Lake region (Remark : on market days only) and proceed to the Western Shore of Inle Lake, where you will find the beginning of a stair path leading to the well hidden INN THEIN PAGODA complex.

After Lunch at a local restaurant on the lake, you will visit the PHAUNGDAW OO PAGODA, one of the most sacred shrines in Myanmar, dating back to the 18th century; the NGA PHE KYAUNG MONASTERY, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks and the weaving village of INPAWKHON.
Overnight in Inle Lake.

After early breakfast, transfer to HEHO airport for domestic flight to NGAPALI BEACH (Flying 01:00 hour – directly flight). On arrival at THANDWE Airport, Continue to drive NGAPALI BEACH (9.5 km – driving 15 Minutes) and check-in. The leisure day is relaxing in NGAPALI BEACH. Overnight in Ngapali Beach.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to THANDWE airport ( 9.5 km – driving 15 Minutes) for domestic flight to YANGON (Flying 01:10 hours). On arrival at YANGON Airport, transfer to restaurant take a lunch and as you wish the day is at your leisure for relaxing, shopping or sightseeing will visit the fascinating YANGON GLASS FACTORY to watch the production of mouth-blown glass in the old-fashioned way and the KABA AYE (WORLD PEACE) PAGODA and the MAHAPASANA CAVE. And then directly transfer to YANGON International Airport for departure flight.
